Wax on Wednesdays Encaustic Pour Fluid Painting Fun !

This is an acrylic pour that Miss Reagan did over the weekend.
Look at all of the gorgeous cells ! There is a little video of it taking shape on Instagram.
I was both honored and excited to be asked to write the technique article for the Spring issue of "Encaustic Arts Magazine" out June 1st. The subscription for this issue is just 2.99 and it is an online magazine that features encaustic artists from around the globe all with their own individual approach to the encaustic art form . A truly mesmerizing magazine if you love encaustic. Eye candy from cover to cover !
Here is a link for the Spring issue

This week I decided to do more fun pours with encaustic.  There are so many different ways to approach both an encaustic and an acrylic pour . I feel like I could study both approaches for years which is quite exciting to me. I used my own hand made encaustic paints for this project but any brand will do just fine.

Supplies I used this week :

Some of the following links are affiliate links where I may receive a few cents back if you purchase them from Amazon using the links below . I am using it both as an easy way for you to find the products( or at least see what they look like :)  and hopefully a way to continue to bring you weekly videos with new techniques and products :)
